Half of the men in Madrid overweight giving the Spanish capital one of highest obesity rates in Europe.
A recent study published by Madrid Health Authorities revealed that 45% of all Madrilène are overweight including 50% of all men. Pedro Calvo, who is in charge of health matters at Madrid city hall, announced the results of the study during the city’s first-ever Conference Days on Public Health. He added that 10.6% of the capital’s population were obese.
