Cancer United have launched a pan-European petition on the disease that kills 1.7 million Europeans every year.
The petition is calling on EU governments to improve the organisation of cancer services, including an appropriate level of resources; to improve quality, including information to patients; to focus on prevention, including increased public awareness of a healthy lifestyle and to improve outcomes.
