A future in which all men in Europe have an equal opportunity
to attain the highest possible level of health and well-being.
EMHF aims to provide a platform for stakeholders to contribute their expertise, and learn from others about the most appropriate approaches to improve men’s health in their particular context. The breadth of this field requires a multiplicity of approaches and the involvement of all stakeholders is crucial. Stakeholders include civil society groups, health professionals, researchers and academics, the media, businesses, and governmental institutions.
The knowledge and expertise in men's health that are developed through exchange and collaboration within the EMHF network will create a rich and unique pool of expertise that can effectively support the work of all stakeholders. This is the essence and added value of EMHF.
The ability of this coalition to grow and build capacity will increase its potential to meaningfully contribute to relevant EU and national policy objectives. EMHF will provide a means of communication for member organisations to develop their own views, and a central position that puts the improvement of men’s health at the heart of EU policy debates.
With the strength and recognition of its European voice, EMHF will strive to become the natural first point of reference for governmental institutions and other stakeholders seeking expertise in relation to improving men’s health outcomes and quality of life.
