The call has gone out for papers for a promising international conference on men and masculinities to take place in Quebec next March.
Future Perspectives in Intervention, Policy and Research on Men and Masculinities: A Space for Exchange and Sharing of
Knowledge and Experience will be in held Quebec City on 9-11 March 2011. Researchers, practitioners and policy makers are welcome.
Gilles Tremblay, professor of social work at Laval University, Quebec says: 'This will be an important opportunity for sharing experiences and discussions concerning men and masculinities in a gender perspective. It will be a fantastic occasion to meet most important researchers interested in men’s issues and practitioners involved in promising interventions with men all around the world.'
The conference will be in English and French. The call for papers is in both languages.
