The first face-to-face meeting of the International Research Network of Men and Masculinities is to take place at the International Conference on Men and Masculinities at Laval University in Quebec in March.
The conference - Future Perspectives on Intervention: Policy and Research on Men and Masculinities - runs 9-11 March 2011. It will bring together different researchers from across the globe, will focus on the future perspectives on intervention, policy and research on men and mascuinities. It will provide a platform for the exchange and sharing of knowledge and experiences.
The International Research Network was set up by Professor Gilles Tremblay from Laval University in late 2009. It brings together 13 leading researchers in the field from 8 countries (Australia, Brazil, Canada, France, India, Mexico, UK, and USA). Health is strongly represented.
