The EMHF has welcomed the new improved men’s health module in the training curriculum for general practitioners in the UK.
The men’s health module in the Royal College of General Practitioner’s curriculum has been completely revised and developed and now, in the words of EMHF president Dr Ian Banks, forms ‘a template for a campaign to have mens health embedded in primary care training and education across Europe’.
Dr Banks said: ‘the RCGP are really showing the way here and should be congratulated for embedding men’s health in GP training in such an effective way. We’re looking forward to seeing it implemented as it really demonstrates to colleagues across Europe what can be done.’
